How long does the certificate last for?

The First Aid at Work certificate lasts for 3 years. Once you have completed a course with us, we will contact you to remind you when you are due to renew your qualification. This takes out all the problems with remembering when to book, and who needs to renew.

Will I have to attend refresher training?

The HSE advises that First Aiders do an Annual Refresher course to keep their skills fresh in their memories. HSE recommends a three hour Annual refresher course at the end of both the first and second year of your First aid at work qualification. You will not need to take the Annual refresher in the same year that you attend a requalification course to renew your certificate.
